Fran Copeland's health care consulting experience includes management, marketing and development, physician recruitment, fundraising, and administration. Working with some of the Chicago area's major teaching hospitals and community hospitals has given Fran a wide range of expertise in a variety of health care settings. Also, having worked as an independent consultant, Ms. Copeland brings a skill set to Health Management Services appropriate to be actively engaged in all aspects of health care consulting with a strong emphasis on physician recruitment and practice and business development.

Previous experience includes developing and establishing new physician practices and maintaining physician stability during transition of ownership of a major area hospital. From equipment purchasing and physical plant expansion to management, Fran brings a constancy to her work along with a vision of creating new opportunities for revenue enhancement.

Ms. Copeland's successes have increased revenue sources for all these organizations, and her volunteer fundraising efforts for one Chicago area hospital increased revenues from $25,000 to over $750,000.

Vivacious, dynamic, and enthusiastic, Ms. Copeland puts all of her considerable energies and talents into her work. Among Fran's professional successes has been as Program Director for a wound care program and staffing a local hospital's Anesthesiology Department. One of Ms. Copeland's strengths is her ability to take a program from conception through implementation and follow up. In addition to her work bringing quality Anesthesiology services to the hospital, Ms. Copeland has developed a protocol for other product lines, such as the colonoscopy program and is working on developing an echocardiogram screening program. Seeing a project through, Ms. Copeland has said, brings a great deal of satisfaction to her professionally. Putting together a successful team which enhances revenue while providing needed health services, is what we're all about. She is now working on taking these product lines to several area institutions who are in need of her business development skills and experience.

Recently, Ms. Copeland, working in conjunction with the Cook County Bureau of Health Services, initiated a colonoscopy program at Jackson Park Hospital, directly resulting in several findings of malignancies, leading to early intervention for treatment for those patients. In addition, her affiliation with Medical Imaging Services, Inc., has brought much needed MRI services to Chicago's south side. Ms. Copeland is currently in the process of bringing a hospital Emergency Department in house, which will reduce costs and increase quality and patient satisfaction.
